Recently I began talking and sharing more about having a Bucket List.
It was about 14years ago that I first wrote my first Bucket List and began ticking things off. I wrote it after I read an article in a magazine about writing a list of 50 Things To Do Before You Die.
I wrote 23 or 24 things on my list, some simple things and others on the list were expensive and required a lot more planning. Last year I went back to this list and started ticking some more things off and also added a few more adventures and focused more on making all on my list a reality.
As I was speaking with a friend and discussing that I would be sharing more about the benefits of having a Bucket List and speaking about exactly that with groups of people, she voiced her thoughts on the Bucket List words, and how, to her it was quite final and not so positive.
The end result of this conversation was speaking about a LifeList. Same thing, different word. This word really resonated with me. It is more lively and more about life and living.
Thank you to my beautiful friend the word LifeList came into being.
Now I’m speaking and sharing the word LifeList. The Logo is showing on my photos, (have a mentioned I’m a serial photosnapper?!) and is a logo you are going to see more of over the coming years.
I believe too many people are dying long before they die. Putting off adventures, travel, time with friends, you name it, they are putting it off. Because they will wait until they retire, until they save the money, until the children leave school, university or home … you get it!
Well I am on a mission to bring more awareness to the fact that life is short and we could all find benefit from writing a LifeList to work through so we make sure we do more of the things we love and make us light up.
You’ll be hearing more from me about writing a LifeList and how to get the most out of your life, so stay tuned!.
Here’s to your adventures!!
