Happy Easter …
I would like to wish you a very happy Easter. Easter can be a time of holidays, family and catching up with friends. I do like to acknowledge those people who are on their own as well, as quite often holiday time can be somewhat lonely. So, whatever it is for you, I trust you find time to enjoy the few days break and take some time to nurture yourself.
I’m having a few quiet days catching up and working on my business, and I’m really enjoying the time writing and being creative. One thing I’ve noticed working with my clients is that they also need to take some time to be creative without the pressure of having to rush to get things completed as they build their business.
I’m running a Webinar on the 30th of April (7 Success Secrets of Entrepreneurial Women) and I’d like to share a little of the content with you here. This is just one area I’ll be sharing and it’s all about your most valuable asset. Keep reading to learn more or if you would like to join me as I share the tips and strategies I’ve used in my business to take it to over 6 figures click on the link and join me on the day.
Here is a small part of what you can expect in the Webinar …
Your most valuable asset. It’s something we all have and not many of us used it to full potential – especially when building a business. It’s TIME…..
Every single person has 24 hours in the day, no matter whether you’re an entrepreneur, a start up small business owner or work for someone else. The difference between others and entrepreneurs is that they know how to use time most efficiently to get the most benefit for their business. How you use your time can be the difference between being successful and not being successful. Working in and on your own business is much different to being in a paid position where you turn up, do the hours, and you get paid. In your business you must be unyielding when it comes to practicing great time management.
Many people are busy for the sake of being busy. Perhaps you’re like I was and simply don’t know what to do or how to do it. Structure is important and of course structure around the things that add to your bottom line.
Many people can do in one day what others only get done in one month. Learn to become more efficient. Also add education into your daily or weekly routine. Learning and growing is one of the most important things you can do. Start now by scheduling into your week time to educate yourself. There is no comparison with someone who is busy and not learning and those of us who do continually educate ourselves.
Consider outsourcing, and yes I can imagine you thinking that you can’t afford it. Write a list of all the things you, only you can do in your business. The rest can be outsourced. Having said that, in the very early days you will most likely do everything yourself, so be prepared to put in the hours. As soon as you know what has to happen to keep your business running you can outsource the admin, and similar things. I suggest you outsource things like housework, ironing and cleaning very early on in your business so that you are free to focus on the business.
Have a good understanding of the numbers in your business and delegate what you can. For interest, if you are earning $250 per hour and it would cost you $20 or even $40 or $45 dollars to outsource a task, you are well in front and you’ll be freed up to do more of those $250 hours. Let go and start working on the things that you can do to make even more income.
I look forward to seeing you on the Webinar – Join here.
